Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. In the film and television industry, she's known for her numerous awards and nominations. Bassett grew up at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt and Uncle in New York New York. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at five years old so that they could be near their mom and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett when she was in high school was a fan of John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. In the year 1980, Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from The Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she was married Courtney B. Vance who was also an actor. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year 1980. She attended the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
